On behalf of the European Commission, and in conjunction with two German partners, KOOP and TNS Infratest, Prevent is developing a methodology for the evaluation of European OSH directives, applicable to all member states.
In preparation for the development of a health and safety strategy in Luxembourg, Prevent evaluated the policy and activities of the Labour Inspectorate and the existing forms of collaboration with and between the prevention partners.
On behalf of the Federal Public Service for Employment, Work and Social Dialogue, Prevent is evaluating the national strategy on well-being at work 2008-2012.
Prevent collaborates as a partner in a European Leonardo Da Vinci partnership project aimed at the exhange of knowledge on the impact of safety and health at work on productivity (Health and Safety at Work and Productivity HesaPro).
Since 2008, the European Commission has been involved in research into the impact of restructurings in companies on workers’ welfare. It has set up three successive projects, for which Prevent is the Belgian partner: Hires (Health in Restructuring), Hires Plus and Hires Public.
Prevent is a partner in the European research project that studies the effects of the larg-scale restructuring of the local governments in Greece (Kallikratis) on the health of the employees.
