Industrial accident insurers
For many years Prevent has been developing a successful partnership with industrial accident insurers, through their federation Assuralia. The institute supports the safety departments of industrial accident insurers with information and advice. Moreover, the financial support of insurers enables a number of collective actions to be developed, such as the development of knowledge, the management and expansion of the documentation and information centre, the organisation of information and awareness campaigns for SME’s (Pro-Safe) and young people at work.
Each year Prevent organises a specific workshop for advisers of the safety departments of industrial accident insurers.

Federal Public Department of Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue
In 2004 Prevent and the FPD of Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue (ELSD) signed a cooperation protocol. In this regard the FPD ELSD made Prevent responsible for supporting the Belgian section of the information network that is being built up by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. Prevent is working closely with the national Focal Point (the official Belgian contact centre of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work) on the development of the BeSWIC website.
